Course information

The third edition (2024) of the online Spring Course ‘EU integration in the Caribbean Region’ (EUinCARIB), will focus on the impact of the EU in the Caribbean Overseas Countries and relevant EU topics in the Caribbean region will be addressed: Sustainability, Green Economy, Climate Change, Innovation, CARICOM.

The course (5 ECTS) will be hosted by key-experts in European Integration, EU Trade Law and Sustainability. The course is conducted under academic leadership of Dr. Germaine Rekwest. In addition, researchers and practitioners with ample experience in OCT subjects will be invited as guest speakers.

The course is conducted under academic leadership of Germaine Rekwest, in collaboration with Wessel Geursen (University of Amsterdam). In addition, researchers and practitioners with ample experience in OCT/EU/CARICOM subjects will be invited as guest speakers.

At the end of the course, participants will receive a certificate of participation. The 5 ECTS will be granted after completion of an essay.
