Enrollment at the UoC

Enrollment for prospective students (Freshmen) will start July 3, and is possible up to August 30, 2024 inclusive. For your convenience, enrollment at the UoC is completely online. Our programs will start on September 2. Please take into account that our introduction days will take place on August 28, 29 and 30 and that you need to be officially enrolled in order to participate. Therefore, we strongly advise you to complete your enrollment as early as possible. Applications received after August 30 will need a written approval from the faculty prior to enrolling for a program.

Please note that the online enrollment procedure consists of a few steps. As you go through these steps, we provide you with additional information in order to facilitate the process and ensure a smooth enrollment. Just click on each one of the steps.

The Student Charter: rights and obligations of students

As a prospective student of the University of Curaçao Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez, it is important for you to know your rights and obligations as a student, as laid down in the Student Charter (Studentenstatuut) Student Charter PG of the UoC. Prior to starting with your online enrollment, we highly recommend you to carefully go through this information. (Note: The Student Charter is in Dutch.)

Your enrollment process is complete when you have filled out both the enrollment form and the financial settlement form, and have uploaded all the required documents.

You are officially accepted at the UoC when you receive an e-mail containing your declaration of enrollment and other important additional information, like for example the use of the digital platforms of the UoC (please do not forget to check your spam mail).

Any questions? Please feel free to contact Student Affairs by mail at studentaffairs@uoc.cw or by phone at 744-2144.

Step 1 Entry requirements

Please check if you meet the entry requirements for our study programs, including the proper prior education. Do you have a diploma from Aruba, Bonaire, Sint Maarten, Sint Eustatius or Saba? Step 2 Check if you have all documents to be uploaded

When filling out your digital enrollment form, you will have to upload a few documents. These documents can be in PDF or JPEG format. You may take a picture of the document with your mobile phone and upload it, provided that these uploads are clear and readable.

  • A valid ID (local ID or passport, no driver’s license).
  • Diploma or certified copy of your diploma.
  • Grade list or certified copy of your grade list.
  • Recent digital photo. (For photo criteria: click here).
  • If applicable: additional entry requirements depending on your study program.

PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL DOCUMENTS ARE READABLE, IN DETAIL! Non-readable documents will NOT be accepted.

Step 3 Enrollment

After you have filled out your enrollment form, you will receive a confirmation e-mail within 2 working days. Please note that your enrollment becomes official when you have filled out both the enrollment form and the financial settlement form, and have uploaded all the required documents.

Enrollment for prospective students (Freshmen) will start July, 3 2024.

Step 4 Understanding Your Financial Obligations

Now that you have filled out your enrollment form, it's time to tackle the financial side. Shortly after confirming your enrollment, you will receive an e-mail containing a link to a vital form: the financial settlement form.

This form is your gateway to understanding and managing your tuition fees. It outlines the total amount due and offers you a selection of payment methods to choose from. Take a moment to gather all the necessary paperwork before diving in, as completing the form typically takes approximately three (3) minutes.

Even if you have made your payment in full, it's crucial to fill out this form. Why? Because it helps us to accurately identify your payment among the various transactions we receive and allocate it correctly. Your cooperation in providing proof of payment ensures smooth and efficient processing on our end.

Once you have submitted the form, expect a confirmation email from us. Please be patient as we meticulously review and process your submission. Rest assured, if you have supplied all the required documentation, we would aim to have everything sorted within a maximum of two days.
