Do you like to help people? Would you like to make a difference in our society? Then the HBO Bachelor's degree in Social Work is the right one for you. During our program you learn how to help those who are disadvantaged achieve equitable participation and chances within our society. You learn how to counsel and serve people within their own contexts. What do social workers do? They shelter the homeless, counsel the distressed, protect the children, empower the victims and promote positive change.

The Bachelor Social Work Program prepares students for a generalist social work practice . We develop versatile, highly skilled and ethical professionals who are able to connect people to one another and empower communities. Our graduates understand the complexity of the social problems within our communities and acquire the skills to enhance human well-being while promoting human rights and advance social justice.
