Studying Architectural Engineering at the UoC

Studying Architectural Engineering at the UoC

Have you ever realized that much of what we do on a daily basis happens in buildings? Take for example factory buildings, industrial buildings, offices, schools, and shopping malls. The house you live in was designed and built by someone, by skilled technical professionals. Are you creative and do you want to be involved in the creation of buildings? Then the architecture study is definitely something for you!

An architect spends a lot of time making drawings. Not only on the computer, but also by doing good old-fashioned pencil sketches. Complete buildings are built with the aid of architectural drawings. To make these drawings, an architect needs to know a lot about building techniques, materials and the influence of the climate on a building. You’ll acquire knowledge about sustainable building, planning and organization and the history of architecture.
