Studying Civil Engineering at the UoC

Studying Civil Engineering at the UoC

Civil engineering is everywhere
Civil engineering is everywhere around you. On your daily routines you’ve probably made use of a number of things all created by civil engineers. You drive over the bridge and stop at the traffic lights. When it rains, the water is swiftly drained. Stop and think about things like turning on a television or flushing a toilet; you guessed it. All things that wouldn’t work without the work of civil engineers. Are you good at making calculations and would contribute to the infrastructure of Curaçao interest you? Civil Engineering at the UoC could be where your education continues.

Academics - Bachelor in Civil Engineering

Studying Civil Engineering
The UoC program trains you to become a civil engineer. You’ll be involved in developing the infrastructures of housing projects or with planning of traffic junctions and highways. Civil engineers have a lot to do with the construction and design of water pipelines. Soil and the ground is where most of civil engineers’ work is concentrated. That’s why you’ll also become  skilled in understanding foundations and learn about the characteristics of the ground.

After graduating you’ll have a Bachelor’s Degree of Build Environment.
